Thanks to everyone who came along and supported and helped to make the Fun Day a great success. Thank you for all the local Businesses that supported us on the day by donating a raffle prize. These included Plumpton Racecourse, Theatre Royal in Brighton, Corals Greyhound Stadium in Hove, Tim Loughton MP, Sussex County Cricket Club, The Cricketers in Southwick, The Bridge Inn, Indian Cottage Tandoori, Mick Maginness Butcher in Lancing, Swiss Cottage, The Longshore, Stonehouse Royal George in Shoreham, Calcutta 16, Malpass, LA Studio, Higgidy Pies, Ropetackle Fish and Chips, Walter Smith Florist and The Amsterdam Inn.

In 2017 we raised £3,680.34 for the Adur Stroke Association.

On Thursday 22nd February we presented a cheque to the Adur Stroke Association. Your fund raising events in the past year have raised a considerable amount for this good cause.
Saturday 17th February. Treat your loved-one to a very special Valentine’s Dance! 2 Across will be providing our dance night music for this event.
Sunday 11 March – between 3pm and 6pm
Ricky Zalez provides your musical entertainment for this special day
On St Patrick’s Day – 17 March – Jason Lee will be providing a Cabaret style Dance Night to give tribute to Frankie Valli, also featuring songs from the musical “Jersey Boys”
Come along to our Friday Night RACE NIGHT and have a flutter! Lots of fun and a bit of heart pounding excitement as you follow your selection on screen.
Details on how to be a horse/dog owner and race sponsor will be displayed soon on the club notice board, website and on Facebook
8pm ’til 11pm. All winnings paid out in cash after each race.
The club has arranged another trip to Glorious Goodwood on Tuesday 31 July 2018.
There will be 70 places available and this year you have the option to either have a standard ticket for the Lennox enclosure for the price of £ 45 or opt to have an upgrade (an additional £ 20) to access the Gordon enclosure for £65.
This will be the same format as last year, which was a great success. The ticket price will include coach travel, cash raffle and a Pick 7 en-route.
On arrival at Goodwood racecourse there will be a buffet and drinks and more drinks prior to departure.
On return to the club there will be a Disco, some more food and the presentation of the prizes for best dressed Filly and Colt.
Once you are in the racecourse you will need to make your own purchases.
