This is to let you know that members can purchase beer, cider and lager from the Conservative Club as a takeaway service to clear our current stock.                                                        The price is £ 2 per pint. All you need to do is bring a plastic container and your blue membership booklet to the kitchen door at the rear of the club.                                                 There is no entry into the actual club.                                               This is available on a Monday, Wednesday and Friday only between 12.00 and 14.00 and again from 18.00 to 20.00.        I will update you once all the stock has gone.                            Please stay safe and keep healthy and we hope to see you all on the other side of this.                                                                  Best wishes from the Committee and Bar Team.                  Please share this with our fellow members.

Please note that the club will closed from 20 March for an indefinite period following the announcement by the PM in his 5pm daily update today about the closure of pubs, clubs, cafes and restaurants etc.                                                          This is subject to review in a month.                                              Please see this site and our Facebook page for any updates.  We would like to take this opportunity to wish you all well during these very challenging times and for you all to keep safe and healthy.

The symptoms are:

a high temperature – this means you feel hot to touch on your chest or back (you do not need to measure your temperature)
a new, continuous cough – this means coughing a lot for more than an hour, or 3 or more coughing episodes in 24 hours (if you usually have a cough, it may be worse than usual)
If so you should self isolate in accordance with the Government direction on this, which is:
if you have symptoms of coronavirus, you’ll need to stay at home for 7 days
if you live with someone who has symptoms, you’ll need to stay at home for 14 days from the day the first person in the home started having symptoms.
